The Best Medicine Taxpayer Money Can Buy

From The Limbaugh Letter:

An elaborate on-site Navy medical clinic stands at the ready, providing a “wealth of primary care medical services” to Congress.

With 4 Navy doctors, a dozen medical and x-ray technicians, nurses and pharmacist on staff, every Congressional medical need is catered to.  No appointment needed, no waiting time.

Attending Physician services include, according to ABC, “physicals and routine examinations, on-site X-rays and lab work, physical therapy and referrals to medical specialists from military hospitals & private medical services.  Not to mention minor surgery and emergency services.

Should an elected official on a “mission” be too busy to travel, specialists are brought to the Capitol.  At no cost to the Congressperson.

Congress doesn’t pay for any services at the time of their visits and don’t have to submit claims. They are charged an annual fee of $503.00 — for everything!  The rest of the tab is picked up by you, the taxpayer.
